Laboratory Projects 2017/2018

The project is aimed at systematization and development of knowledge about the psychology of corrupt behaviour. We will try to understand better how people decide to enter into corrupt relationships, how they perceive the process of giving and receiving a bribe, a kickback or other forms of corruption. Within the project, we systematize research in the psychology of corruption in Russia and abroad, as well as conduct our own study of the moral and ethical grounds of corruption.
The project is about a relationship between corruption and LGBTI rights violation in Russia. The project team has the aim to find theoretical and methodological grounds of analysis of the rights violation and corruption and to test the hypothesis about the correlation between these variables. Furthermore, collect and analyze data on existing cases of rights violation and corruption phenomenon and develop recommendations according to the results of the conducted analysis.
The project is aimed at developing a prototype of an international database for storing information about Politically Exposed Persons using the advantages of new technologies (distributed databases). Such a database potentially could be used by various actors (states, international organizations, NCOs, and citizens) in order to counter corruption.
Within the project, we will analyse anti-corruption measures in the sport in Russia and abroad, develop a corruption risk analysis model in this field. Based on the accomplished work will prepare an analytical report on the manifestation of corruption in sport and countermeasures.
The aim of the project is the introduction of the concept of Sextortion in the Russian anti-corruption analysis, and also collect data about Sextortion. The project team should write the analytics paper based on theoretical and methodological approaches to sextortion, conceptualize the term and analyse foreign practices combating sextortion.
The Aim of the project is to form a negative attitude towards corruption among students through educational programs, which are based on a value-oriented approach. Within its realization, the project team will study the existing Russian and international experience of teaching anti-corruption, develop a curriculum and also test it on the high school students and first-year students.
The project involves translation, analysis, and annotation of new foreign publications on corruption and countering corruption.
Within the project, we will develop materials for social media on combating corruption, write articles about the anti-corruption research and develop a strategy for social media.
