The Laboratory for Anti-Corruption Policy (LAP) was created in 2009 by the National Research University Higher School of Economics in partnership with the Centre for Anti-Corruption Investigations and Initiatives "Transparency International – R". The laboratory is headed by Dina Krylova and focuses on the three key areas of activity: anti-corruption education, implementation of applied anti-corruption projects, and academic research on combating corruption.


XI PULAP Anti-Corruption Summer School "Modern View of Anti-Corruption Issues" was held

Our 11th Anti-Corruption Policy Summer School is over. We have done a great job together with our participants. This time we were joined by 40 trainees from different universities of Russia, 20 of them are students of the Higher School. Some participants have repeatedly participated in PULAP projects, some of them are studying in the Master's program "Compliance and Prevention of Legal Risks", and some students participated in our Summer School for the second time!

Transformation of Compliance in a New Environment

This was discussed by the participants of the Compliance Club of the National Research University Higher School of Economics at the regular meeting of the Club on June 21, 2022. Representatives of companies and invited experts shared their views on how compliance is changing in the new environment, their experience in overcoming difficulties, defined the possible development strategy, goals, and objectives of the compliance function in the new environment.

Research and Practice Conference "Artificial Intelligence in Preventing Legal Risks and Combating Corruption

On April 7 the joint with the Faculty of Law scientific and practical conference "Artificial Intelligence in the prevention of legal risks and anti-corruption" took place. This is the 4th joint conference, which is traditionally held within the XXIII Yasin (April) International Scientific Conference on the problems of development of economy and society.

Meeting of the HSE Compliance Club on "Legal and Compliance Risks of Companies in the New Realities

On March 17 the Project and Training Laboratory of Anti-Corruption Policy together with its partner law firm "Pepeliaev Group" held a meeting of the Compliance Club of the National Research University Higher School of Economics on "Legal and compliance risks of companies in the new realities". Krylova Dina - the moderator of the Club, head of the HSE PULAP, Public Ombudsman for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights in the field of anti-corruption, welcomed everyone and addressed the audience with opening remarks, noting the importance and relevance of this meeting in the current environment.
